Prof. Johanna Rosen is a Professor and Head of the Materials Design division at Linköping University.

She received her PhD from RWTH-Aachen University in Germany in 2004, and after being a visiting scientist at LBNL in Berkeley and at Sydney University, she returned to Sweden to establish her research platform. She has published more than 300 papers, and her research interest is focused towards fundamental theoretical and experimental studies targeting novel 3D and 2D materials for sustainable technologies.

She is a recipient of the Göran Gustafsson Award in Physics, a Wallenberg Scholar, and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
